It’s safe to say the Syracuse football team got more than they expected from Senior grad-transfer Amba Etta-Tawo. 94 receptions for 1,482 yards and 14 touchdowns is still shocking even when I’m writing it down now.
The problem with grad-transfers is that they’re a short-term fix. They come in for one year and provide you with a seasoned body that can only help you for one season. Although, what’s the problem with adding a receiver who has fully developed and is ready to maximize their talents?
That’s what Etta-Tawo provides head coach Dino Babers. Babers can use Etta-Tawo as a recruiting tool to attract some of these “free-agents”.
