Syracuse Football: Alton Robinson honored by the ACC

A big part of the Syracuse football team experiencing some early success this season has been due to their defense’s ability to get to the opposing quarterback.

Through six games, the Orange have already racked up a total of 20 sacks. That’s a drastic improvement from a year ago when the Syracuse defense only had 17 total sacks during the entire 2017 season.

The Orange’s improved pass rush is led by experience this year in junior defensive linemen Alton Robinson and Kendall Coleman. Each of these Syracuse defenders already has six sacks to their name so far this season.
