Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football added some last-minute depth at defensive end on Sunday when junior college standout Alton Robinson joined the program, SU Athletics announced.
Robinson, a sophomore, comes to the Orange from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, where he logged 14 sacks, good for third in the JUCO ranks, as well as 67 tackles last season. He was named second-team All-Southwest Junior College Conference.
Robinson signed with Texas A&M in February 2016, but did not enroll after being charged with felony robbery later that month. The charges were investigated and dismissed on July 25, 2017, per SU Athletics.
