Something that has been speculated was confirmed this week: the Alliance of American Football is over.
Well technically the legal term being used is “the suspension of football operations”, but several sources have confirmed that any member of the football staff (player, coach, executives) have all been fired and removed.
This decision was solely made by majority owner Tom Dundon. He bought a majority stake in mid-February and when you own the majority, you make the decisions. That’s where problems started to arise.
Darren Rovell revealed the heart of the issue here via the Action Network:
