Syracuse Football: 4 Areas to Improve in the Bye Week

Take a deep breath. After an action-packed September in which Syracuse football jumped out to a 3-1 record, they get a quick reprieve with a bye week. It really couldn’t have come at a better time either. After a smashmouth, hard fought loss to LSU this past weekend and four straight games in September, SU needs to recover their strength.

Cue the bye week. Syracuse gets an entire extra seven days to recuperate. It’s the perfect time for them to focus on getting healthy and it gives them an extra week of preparation before their next game.

It’s also a great opportunity to assess the team’s current weaknesses and see where they can improve for the rest of the season.
