The 2018 Syracuse football squad was a special team that went 10-3 for the first time since 2001. Some of the biggest stars from that team moved on to NFL opportunities in the spring.
After going unselected, former Orange quarterback Eric Dungey signed a deal with the New York Giants.
Dungey was selective during this process and sifted through multiple NFL offers before deciding big blue was the right choice.
Unfortunately, Eric’s injury history haunted him in the pros and forced him to miss critical time with the Giants during the spring and he was waived ahead of training camp.
