SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange men's basketball team drew the No. 11 seed in the Midwest Region when the bracket for the 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship was unveiled on Sunday night.
Syracuse (16-9) received one of the 36 at-large berths into the 68-team field and will face No. 6 seed San Diego State in the first round on Friday, March 19. The location and time of the contest have yet to be announced.
"I've seen San Diego State play a couple of times," Orange head coach Jim Boeheim said.
