I didn't have to work yesterday, so I decided to catch a movie before settling in for Big Monday's Syracuse at Duke game. I picked The Revenant, mainly because I didn't know what that word meant & didn't want to see Star Wars. At any rate, I saw the movie without getting around to looking up the definition of revenant, but basically figured it out during the course of the film: one that returns after death or a long absence. And so, watching Syracuse play at Duke last night ended up being a lot like the movie: the Orange had been gone for a long time, some had pontificated about the death of the season, and then they waltz into Cameron Indoor and play really hard for 40 minutes and beat Duke, so it all just kind of fit.
