DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its FBS football awards on Friday, Dec. 14 and Syracuse was well represented. The Orange won three of the five individual awards, placed 10 players on the All-ECAC First Team, and had three more receive honorable mention.
Senior quarterback Eric Dungey was named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year. Freshman defensive back Andre Cisco won ECAC Defensive Rookie of the Year, and Dino Babers was voted the conference's Coach of the Year.
The other two individual awards went to Massachusetts linebacker Bryton Barr (Defensive Player of the Year) and Temple offensive lineman Adam Klein (Offensive Rookie of the Year).
