Thanks to Mother Nature the Syracuse Chiefs are second in the MILB for rainouts/postponements. It’s a blessing in disguise because at 5:05 today we’ll have a double header against the Charlotte Knights at NBT Bank Stadium.
I don’t know if it’s the rain or the roof of depression caving in on me but the Chiefs haven’t been playing well. Sure they’re last in the International League North, sporting a 15-31 record, but I mean overall.
The Chiefs have only been to the postseason once in the 21st century and only twice since 1995. That’s a long time without hope.
