Syracuse, N.Y. -- Tyus Battle's frustration grew with each missed shot.
The Syracuse junior had struggled to find his jumper through the Orange's two exhibition games and its regular season opener against Eastern Washington on Tuesday.
Now, as halftime approached in Syracuse's game against Morehead State on Saturday, Battle's shooting woes continued. He missed his first six shots from the field as the Orange tried to fend off a scrappy Eagles squad.
With two minutes left in the first half, Battle finally found the bottom of the net on a mid-range jumper. Sensing a shift in his shooting mojo, he came right back with another jumper; this one from the baseline, and knocked it home.
