Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse has three point guards on its men's basketball roster. At this point, three days before the Orange plays its first scrimmage of the 2018-19 year, none of them are completely healthy.
Howard Washington is recovering from ACL surgery. Frank Howard has been saddled with a lower leg injury; as of Sunday, he was still wearing a protective boot. And Jalen Carey, the freshman from New Jersey, sustained a left ankle injury during SU's Orange-White scrimmage on Oct. 12.
Carey said Monday he sprained his left ankle while attempting to rebound in the lane.
