Syracuse, N.Y. -- Rick Jackson, the former Syracuse University basketball player, has signed to play for Nacional Basquet in Uruguay, according to reports out of the South American country.
Nacional Basquet is based in Uruguay's capitol of Montevideo.
Jackson, a 6-foot-9 center, played at Syracuse from 2007 to 2011. He led Syracuse in both scoring and rebounding as a senior.
Since the end of his college career, Jackson has played for several teams overseas and in the NBA's D-League. His overseas stops include teams in France, Russia, Isreal and the Philippines.
This isn't Jackson's first time playing in South America.
