Syracuse, N.Y. -- Isaiah Stewart, one of the top players in the 2019 recruiting classes, is playing for the USA in the FIBA U-17 World Cup in Argentina. And Syracuse assistant Gerry McNamara is there to watch him.

Stewart, a 6-foot-9 forward from Rochester, N.Y., is one of Syracuse's top recruiting targets for the 2019 class.

The 2018 FIBA U-17 World Cup tournament is taking place in Rosario and Sante Fe, Argentina this week. The teams are currently in the midst of Group play. The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be played Friday through Sunday.

McNamara confirmed that he will be in Sante Fe to watch Stewart play when the USA takes on Serbia on Tuesday.
