Yes, you read that right. Former Syracuse basketball star Tyler Roberson will be playing overseas for one of the premier teams in the Greek League. AEK Athens a Greek club team, won the Champions League last season, after finishing 5th in their league.
Roberson actually had a very successful G-League campaign last season, averaging just over 10 points and 7 rebounds per game. In a guard oriented league, those numbers proved to be good, but Roberson decided that the Greek League was a better opportunity.
While some people may say that this is just another failed NBA Career by Syracuse, I’d ask them to think again.
