The 122nd edition of the rivalry between the Orange and the Big Red is set.
Another storied Upstate New York basketball rivalry will continue this year right after the Holidays when the Syracuse Orange host the Cornell Big Red on December 27.
It will be the 122nd meeting between the two schools. The rivalry dates all the way back to the 1900-1901 season, which started with an eight-game winning streak for Cornell.
Syracuse owns a 91-30 lead in the series and has won 36 straight against the Big Red.
In last year’s meeting, the Orange were led by Tyler Roberson and Malachi Richardson who both scored 15 points in the 67-46 victory.
