Syracuse, N.Y. -- Osun Osunniyi, a 6-10 center from Putnam (Conn.) Science Academy, announced on Monday that he will attend St. Bonaventure.
Osunniyi made the announcement during a dinner celebrating Putnam Science's national prep school championship.
Osunniyi, who is from Linwood, N.J., chose St. Bonaventure over offers from Syracuse and Georgetown. He had taken official visits to all three schools within the past two weeks.
Ossuniyi is the second player from Putnam Science Academy to commit to St. Bonaventure this spring. Kyle Lofton, a 6-4 guard, committed to the Bonnies back in March.
Playing time factored heavily into Osunniyi's decision.
