Syracuse, N.Y. - There was a definitive moment in Sunday's game in the Carrier Dome when Frank Howard knew the situation was serious.
"When I saw the coat go, that's when I was like 'All right,'" the Syracuse guard said.
The coat had once been worn by Jim Boeheim, who shed it and tossed it toward the SU bench after Mitchell Wilbekin drained his second 3-pointer of the second half. Wilbekin, who had missed four straight games with an injury, would go on to make four 3-point shots - all of them in the second half - as his Wake team rallied to reach within 65-63 of the Orange's once-robust 14-point lead.
