The Syracuse basketball team will enter the 2019-20 campaign without the services of wing Tyus Battle and forward Oshae Brissett, who both have elected to remain in the NBA Draft, which will take place on June 20.
While the Orange will have a deep roster that encompasses at least 12 scholarship dudes, the ‘Cuse does have voids to fill because of the decisions by Battle and Brissett to turn pro.
Just how large those gaps are remains unclear, although columnist Mike DeCourcy with the Sporting News published a piece on Thursday, where he listed a handful of programs which he deems amounted to the “biggest losers” after the deadline passed for collegiate guys to retain their NCAA eligibility.
