Syracuse Basketball: SU can salvage their season and NCAA Tournament Aspirations by February

Over 42 illustrious years as the Orange’s bench boss, Jim Boeheim has never lost five in a row. Last night, the Orange ended their four-game losing skid with a commanding 59-45 win over Pittsburgh in the Carrier Dome.

With six losses to their name already, the Orange have been counted out by most college hoops analysts, and have rightfully so, been left out of several early March Madness bracket predictions.

However, many forget that two years ago, the Syracuse Orange made the tournament as a 10 seed, and went on two losing streaks of three or more games during ACC play.
