The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team will continue its rivalry with Georgetown Hoyas when the two programs meet on Dec. 11 at Capital One Arena, per release.
The matchup will mark the 97th meeting between Syracuse and Georgetown. The Orange hold the series edge 52-44. With the exception of the 2013-14 season, Syracuse and Georgetown have met each year since SU departed for the ACC. The series is split 3-3.
Syracuse and Georgetown used late season runs to make NCAA Tournament appearances in March. The Orange won three of its last four games to make the field of 68.
