As the Syracuse basketball squad awaits the decisions of four-star prospects Eric Ayala and Jordan Tucker, we have other recruiting nuggets to report.

Cole Swider, a four-star forward in the 2018 class, announced via Twitter his eight finalists. The Orange, thankfully, made the cut. The others are Creighton, Indiana, Miami, Michigan, Providence, Villanova and Xavier.

Head coach Jim Boeheim and his staff offered a scholarship to the 6-7 Swider back in February. He attends the St. Andrew’s School in Barrington, R.I.

Swider ranks 98th nationally at 247Sports, and 23rd at the small-forward position.
