The Syracuse basketball recruiting trail is blazing hot as the summer nears its conclusion.
On Friday night, coveted 2019 big man Isaiah Stewart took to Twitter to reveal his six finalists, with the Orange among those staying in contention.
The half-dozen remaining programs that the five-star center is considering are Duke, Indiana, Michigan State, Syracuse, Villanova, which has captured two of the past three national titles, and Washington, which is led by former Orange assistant Mike Hopkins.
In cutting his list, the 6-foot-9 Stewart eliminated Georgetown, Louisville, Notre Dame and Texas. Sorry, Hoyas.
Nationally, across the 2019 class, he is widely regarded as a top-10 stud.
