Syracuse, N.Y. -- Oshae Brissett, the 6-foot-9 forward from Mississauga, Ontario, committed to Syracuse Saturday by announcing his college choice during the Toronto Raptors game broadcast by former Orange star Leo Rautins.
Brissett, who plays prep basketball at Athlete Institute in Mono, Ontario, visited Syracuse for Orange Madness, where he hung out for most of the night with Quade Green, another Orange target.
He had initially wanted to announce his decision on Friday, Rautins said, but TSN, Canada's sports network, provided him a television platform to deliver the news during the Raptors game Saturday night.
