Washington, D.C. -- Syracuse fans longing for the uptempo, push-the-pace Orange editions of old, here's a glimmer of hope:
Jalen Carey wants to be your savior.
"I'm always ready to go," Carey said. "I try to model my game after Russell Westbrook a lot. Just watching him always in attack mode just helps me build off his confidence and gives me confidence of my own."
"He's an exceptional athlete," Montclair Immaculate Conception (NJ) coach Jimmy Salmon said. "He plays really fast."
Carey, the Class of 2018 guard who committed to Syracuse last October, has been moved to point guard in the absence of an injured teammate.
