Neither of their teams made it to the Super Bowl, but the two Syracuse basketball players, along with many of their teammates, were hoping to watch the big game on Sunday night.
Syracuse played at Louisville on Monday night. The Syracuse players and coaches were supposed to travel to the game on Sunday. University officials had mapped out an itinerary that would get the team to Louisville in time for everyone to get to the team's hotel in time for the Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots.
