Syracuse, N.Y. -- When the Syracuse men's basketball team was piling up victories, head coach Jim Boeheim praised freshman Marek Dolezaj for making, "winning plays." But as the Orange has put together a losing record through six ACC games, Dolezaj has largely disappeared.
He hasn't scored a basket in five consecutive games, and his nifty passing skills have been obscured. Even the energy stats that endeared him to Syracuse fans early on have suffered. His steals have dropped and his rebounding average has been cut nearly in half during conference play.
"I feel like I struggled," Dolezaj said.
