Syracuse Basketball: Oshae Brissett to remain in the NBA Draft

With his stock apparently rising following a solid performance at the recent NBA Combine, Syracuse basketball forward Oshae Brissett announced via social media on Tuesday evening that he will keep his name in the 2019 NBA Draft, which will take place in about a month.

Brissett, in his posts via both Instagram and Twitter, wrote that “Syracuse will always be home.” However, he also noted that it’s the right time to fully concentrate on his No. 1 goal of making it to the NBA. He ended, beautifully, with “I will always BLEED ORANGE.”

When Brissett first announced that he would test the NBA Draft waters, many people in the ‘Cuse community figured that Brissett would gather helpful information about his pro prospects, but that ultimately he would return for his junior campaign.
