Oshae Brissett, an athletic and talented sophomore forward with the Syracuse basketball unit, is expected to declare for the NBA Draft while maintaining his ability to return to the Orange, per a tweet by Jeff Goodman, an analyst at Stadium.
Brissett, after a strong freshman campaign, averaged 12.4 points and a SU-high 7.5 rebounds during the 2018-19 stanza, in which the ‘Cuse won 20 games but got knocked out of the NCAA Tournament in the round of 64 by Baylor.
Considering that Brissett’s numbers decreased a tad in his sophomore term, the bevy of Syracuse fans, myself included, probably figured that he would almost certainly come back for the third year.
