The 2019-20 stanza begins in about 50 days for the Syracuse basketball squad, and the general consensus, at least for now, is that the Orange is a bubble team on the outside looking in as far as the NCAA Tournament goes.
In late August, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, for one, unveiled his latest mock line-up for the 2020 Big Dance, and he put the ‘Cuse in his “next four out” category.
More recently, on Tuesday NCAA.com correspondent Andy Katz released his pre-season projections for the field of 68, and Syracuse is unfortunately again on the wrong side of the proverbial bubble.
