The Syracuse basketball team’s fierce rivalry with former Big East Conference foe Georgetown lives on, at least for four more years anyway.
An announcement from SU published via cuse.com on Wednesday afternoon says that the Orange and the Hoyas have inked a four-game series that commences on Saturday, Dec. 14, when Syracuse travels to Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., to face Georgetown in the 2019-20 campaign.
This quartet of contests will resume in Central New York during 2020-21 and 2022-23, as well as another bout in our nation’s capital in 2021-22, according to the ‘Cuse press release.
