The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball program has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2019 four-star center Kofi Cockburn, according to Andrew Slater of 247Sports.
Cockburn confirmed the news to TNIAAM on Monday evening.
“He’s a big, skilled center that has a ton of potential and room to grow,” an assistant for the NY RENS told TNIAAM on Monday. “He’s ranked as a Top 50 kid now, but he’s just getting started. He’s still learning the game.”
Cockburn, who stands at 6-foot-11, attends Christ the King in Middle Village, but is originally from Jamaica. He’s only played organized basketball for a few years.
