Syracuse basketball offers class of 2022 guard Zion Cruz

The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball program has extended a scholarship offer to class of 2022 guard Zion Cruz, per Mike Waters of Syracuse.com.

A 6-foot-2 guard out of New Jersey, Cruz plays his high school ball at Hudson Catholic and runs with the PSA Cardinals on the AAU circuit. He’s rated No. 20 in his class by ESPN and also holds offers from Auburn, Bryant, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John’s and UCLA and UConn.

Cruz received his Syracuse offer on Friday before participating in elite camp this weekend, along with his teammates Mac Etienne and Kyle Cuffe on top of other Syracuse targets in Lance Ware, Dajuan Wagner, Donovan Clingan and JJ Starling.
