Syracuse basketball needs better bench play to reach potential

The Syracuse basketball bench struggled and saw minimum production in the first half vs Cornell on Wednesday.

The bench of Quincy Guerrier and Brycen Goodine had two of their first-half turnovers almost instantly. In total the bench helped keep Cornell in the game early.

Outside of the low scoring output, the bench started poorly right out of the gate. Guerrier and Goodine checked in first and turned the ball over three times. Bourama Sidibe picked up his fourth foul with less than 10 minutes in the second half, forcing coach Jim Boeheim to put Guerrier back in.
