Syracuse, N.Y. — Bourama Sidibe announced on Monday that he had decided to attend Syracuse University next year.
Sidibe, a 6-foot-11 senior center at St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, N.J., picked the Orange over finalists Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. He also had offers from Maryland, Memphis, Seton Hall and Arizona State.

He took an official visit to the Syracuse campus two weeks ago, which allowed him to attend the Orange's season-opener against Colgate and then watch the team practice the next day.
