Syracuse Basketball: John Gillon, DaShonte Riley to Boeheim’s Army

Boeheim’s Army is closing in on officially qualifying for this summer’s The Basketball Tournament (“TBT”), where the winning bunch collects $2 million.

Syracuse.com reported on Wednesday, with Boeheim’s Army confirming via its’ Twitter page, that John Gillon and DaShonte Riley will suit up for the crew named after legendary SU head coach Jim Boeheim.

Gillon and Riley each competed for Boeheim’s Army a year ago, when the outfit reached the TBT’s Final Four before losing to Overseas Elite, the three-time defending champions.

An ultra-quick point guard, Gillon donned a ‘Cuse uniform as a graduate transfer during the 2016-17 term, when the Orange unfortunately failed to make the Big Dance.
