Syracuse basketball forward Oshae Brissett surprised many media pundits and fans with his decision to enter the 2019 NBA Draft last week. But don’t include Jim Boeheim among those surprised.
In an interview with Mike Waters of Syracuse.com Boeheim indicated that Oshae “was thinking about going to the NBA” all year:
“You can’t put pressure on yourself. You’ve just got to go out and play. Once you start thinking about going to the league, you put pressure on yourself and it kind of builds.’’
It certainly felt that way watching Brissett’s play this past season.
