Syracuse basketball sophomore Jalen Carey didn’t play in the last game vs Seattle, on Wednesday night we may have found out why.
The Voice of the Orange Matt Park revealed on social media prior to the Orange’s game vs Cornell that, “Carey has a right thumb injury and is set to have surgery on Friday. He won’t dress Wednesday night vs Cornell and will miss a significant amount of time. I’m told the injury originated in the Summer.”
So far the Orange have played three games this season, Jalen Carey started the first, only played five minutes into the second game, and didn’t participate vs Seattle last Saturday.
