Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse basketball team is, quite naturally, expected to snap its two-game losing streak on Tuesday when it plays Colgate in the Carrier Dome.
The Orange is a 21 1/2-point favorite according to Vegas Insider, which would be about the norm in recent history. The teams have met annually since 1993, with the Orange winning every meeting. In 167 meetings in history, Syracuse owns the season series by a margin of 122-45, and the Orange's last loss came in 1962.
The Raiders are 2-5 this season and are coming off a 27-point loss at Texas Christian on Saturday, the only power-five opponent they have played.
