Syracuse basketball has swung and missed on some intriguing big men this offseason, but they haven’t given up their efforts.
Over the weekend talented four-star big man Frank Anselem made two big announcements that are worth noting.
Firstly, he has reclassified from 2021 to 2020. That means he’ll be eligible to suit up this coming season for whoever he plays with.
Which takes us to the second bit of news, after initially narrowing his recruitment down to a “final three”, he has completely re-opened his mind to playing elsewhere. Anselem was previously down to three SEC schools in LSU, Georgia, and Alabama.
