Okay, so this isn’t necessarily a story on the Syracuse basketball squad, but it’s still absolutely worth sharing.
The George Washington University men’s hoops program announced on Wednesday that it has hired Greg Paulus, who starred in both basketball and football while at the Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, as an assistant coach.
In 2017-18, Paulus worked on the staff at Louisville, which is one of SU’s fiercest rivals in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Now he heads to the Colonials, who are out of the Atlantic 10 Conference.
Prior to joining the Cardinals, Paulus served as an assistant coach for four seasons at Ohio State, as well as two terms as the Buckeyes’ video coordinator.
