Syracuse, N.Y. --Katie Kolinski's historic run is coming down the home stretch.
Kolinski, the first female graduate assistant coach in the history of the Syracuse University men's basketball team, is helping the Orange prepare for the 2018 ACC Tournament and whatever postseason fate awaits after that.
Kolinski, a West Genesee High School graduate, has been apart of the program for seven years. She first served as a student manager for SU's men's team since she arrived on campus and climbed the ranks to become head manager.
Kolinski has spent the last two years as a graduate assistant coach for the Orange, helping Jim Boeheim and the coaching staff any way she can on the practice floor, in the film room or on the bench during a game.
