Syracuse basketball got its first win of the season 70 to 54 over Colgate.
The Raiders, a favorite on the Patriot League, offers a good resume boost in the non-conference. Syracuse had only one point in the first 5:50 of the game and memories from Virginia a week prior began to swarm.
Colgate turned the ball over at the 12:13 mark for the second time of the game when Syracuse got the once Raider 9-1 lead to 11-8 before Elijah Hughes took the steal to the opposite end finding Buddy Boeheim for his second consecutive three.
Colgate ended up turning the ball over 15 times tonight.
