Syracuse, N.Y. -- Gonzaga's loss to Tennessee Sunday ensured a new No. 1 in the AP men's college basketball poll this week.
Kansas grabs the top spot and the Zags sink to No. 4.
Syracuse, after home wins over Northeastern and Georgetown, just got into the new poll. The Orange is tied for 25th with Indiana and Kansas State. SU dropped out of the poll after consecutive losses to Connecticut and Oregon, neither of which is in the AP Top 25. But SU has reeled off five straight wins since. The Orange does not play again until Saturday, when it hosts Old Dominion.
