Syracuse, N.Y. -- Jim Boeheim slammed his jacket and the Syracuse Orange slammed the door shut on the Colgate Raiders.
When Colgate guard Francisco Amiel slithered into the lane and dropped in a floater to cut Syracuse's lead to 49-45 with 13:31 left, Boeheim angrily ripped off his jacket and threw it onto a chair on the SU bench.
The Syracuse players responded, tightening up their 2-3 zone defense and holding Colgate without a made field goal for the next 12 minutes.
The defense keyed a critical 28-to-3 run that lifted the Orange from a 43-41 deficit into a 69-46 lead.
