Syracuse basketball is finally rounding into shape. The defense still has a ways to go as shown by giving up a 16 point advantage in another tight win on the road at Virginia Tech, but at least the offense is really clicking.
The win over the Hokies puts the Orange at 4-3 in ACC play and 11-7 overall. The Orange must now hit the road again to take on Notre Dame on Wednesday night: a team that just barely squeaked by them very recently.
Much like Syracuse, Notre Dame isn’t playing great this year. They have been having an off year (for a variety of reasons) and are a middle of the pack team at best in a conference that is having a bad season all-around.
