Syracuse Basketball: Gamble pays off for Tyler Lydon with Kings deal

Sometimes you have to risk it to get the biscuit. Former Syracuse basketball star Tyler Lydon and his representation took a unique path back to the NBA this offseason.

After playing two seasons for the Syracuse basketball squad, Lydon decided he was ready for the NBA and entered the 2017 NBA Draft.

Tyler was selected in the first round by the Utah Jazz and was later traded to the Denver Nuggets.

The Denver fit never really made sense for Lydon because he was immediately buried on the depth chart behind a slew of other forwards.
