We’ve followed the path of Syracuse Orange forward Oshae Brissett rather extensively around these parts since he decided to test the NBA waters following his sophomore season. The process has seemingly evolved by the minute in recent weeks. Since the season ended, Brissett went from being an afterthought who would surely return to Syracuse, to later earning an NBA G-League Camp invite and then to the NBA combine last week.
Now, a new wrinkle has emerged following Brissett’s combine momentum. According to Wes Brown — a former member of the Dallas Mavericks G-League affiliate and current Canadian basketball scout — Brissett is primed to be picked between the 25-40 range in this summer’s NBA Draft.
