Syracuse, N.Y. -- Last season, the Syracuse Orange struggled to score.
There are signs that might not be the case this year.
Syracuse placed four players in double-figures in an 89-52 rout of Le Moyne College on Wednesday night at the Carrier Dome. And while it was just an exhibition against a Division II opponent, the 89 points were more than Syracuse scored in any regulation game last season.
Syracuse averaged just 66.6 points per game last season, which was the lowest output since the 1962-63 season.
On Wednesday, Syracuse got a team-high 21 points from Elijah Hughes.
