The Syracuse basketball team secured its inaugural conquest of the 2019-20 term on Wednesday evening inside the Carrier Dome, as the Orange defeated a talented Colgate crew, 70-54.
The Raiders (1-2), expected by many of the sport’s pundits to capture the Patriot League regular-stanza crown and return to March Madness, settled for an abundance of attempts from beyond the arc, and Colgate managed to connect on just 31.7 percent of them.
The ‘Cuse (1-1, 0-1), meanwhile, hopefully, has left its poor offensive performance versus highly rated Virginia a week ago in its rear-view mirror.
